MyGuy has a wonderfully long list of talents and blessings. Top of the list? Thinking I’m a badass of babes. Fo shizzle. Meanwhile, on the other side of the spectrum, are what my daddy liked to call the “warts & all” list. On this list? He is an infomercial’s wet dream. Case in point? The Shake Weight. Yep. He wants one. Has been talking ’bout it for months. Thus far, I’ve been able to keep a straight face and react with a traditonal level of sarcasm and wit. But it’s pushing the line. Hard. If you’re unfamiliar with this gadget, supposedly it will turn you into a popeye-arm He-man (sp?) or Sheera. Thank goodness they come in male and female models, whew!!!
Evidently, I’m not the only one who thinks they are a dirty-little gadget; SNL recently parodied the muscle/giggle-inducing device. So, for your viewing pleasure, I present the Original, and the SNL tribute.
